1 Haḡar replied, What shall I say is the name of him who beareth these glad tidings.
2 And the messenger replied, Be’ĕr Laḥai Ro’i, for know thou that Elohim seest thee in all places withersoever thou shalt be.
3 And Haḡar said, I know that Elohim seest me, for He hath this day sent His messenger to minister unto me.
4 Wherefore, Haḡar returned unto the tent of Sarah and at the appointed time she bare unto me a son and I called his name Yishma’ĕl, according to the word of the messenger.
5 And I was four score and six years old when Haḡar bare Yishma’ĕl unto me.
